To avoid the limitations of ready-made materials, we used a drilling machine to drill holes in the metal frame, allowing us more freedom to decide the placement of hardware.
Next, we wrapped the metal frame with leather. This time, we used WALPIER Buttero vegetable-tanned leather, which is stiffer than Puccini Koala series that I’ve been used. Although it was a bit challenging for me, thanks to the detailed demonstration by my teacher, I managed to pass through.
After observing for few days,Go-san was very aware of the students’ levels and always patiently helped me correct the bad habits I had developed before. This was really helpful for me. 🥹
Moreover, every afternoon when I was about to fall asleep, Go-san always kindly prepared a cup of black coffee for me. The class schedule was a little bit tight this time; I hope next time we‘ll have more leisure for elegant afternoon tea.☕️😊
