終於來到最終日，雖然心裡很希望能夠順利完成，
但同時有另一個聲音告訴自己：完成不是終點。把每一個步驟確實理解，並且仔細的完成，才是應有的學習態度。同時不希望造成老師的困擾。

果然永遠離期望的進度有差距，雖然已經卯盡全力，很多細節的操作對我來說仍像新的世界。

順利將內裡縫合完成後，接著加上包底腳釘。原本要先將內裡與主體貼合，但眼看著時間有點緊迫，老師還是為我調整了順序，以便來不及完成的部分能夠讓我回台灣後獨立完成。

固定兩側的金屬螺絲也是相當關鍵的環節：

第一課是皮革包釦，順利完成！
第二課是螺絲片加工，讓螺絲截斷處能被金屬填滿空間的加工方法，是我最喜歡的細節技巧。
第三課是早上有沒有吃飽？好好的把截斷處確實地打磨平整。我使出吃奶力氣，努力完成。

到這裡，不知不覺又8個小時過去了
老師同學們等著我收尾一起聚餐，實在很不好意思…

雖然最終無法在老師的工作室一起共享作品完成的最後一刻
但我心中充滿了感激與喜悅
謝謝促成這次進修能夠順利的所有因緣
也謝謝自己努力到最後一刻

期待下次大家再見面的日子

The Final Day: Reflections on Craft and Gratitude

The final day has finally arrived. While a part of me desperately hoped to see the finished piece, another voice whispered: Completion is not the destination. To truly understand every step and execute them with precision—that is the essence of learning. I also didn’t want to cause any trouble for my teacher.

As expected, there was a gap between my progress and my expectations. Even though I gave it my absolute all, many of the detailed techniques felt like discovering a “new world.” After successfully stitching the lining, it was time for the bottom studs. Originally, the lining was to be bonded to the main body first, but seeing the clock ticking, my teacher kindly adjusted the sequence. This ensures I can independently complete the remaining parts once I return to Taiwan.

Securing the side screws was a pivotal moment:

• Lesson 1: Leather-covered buttons—completed successfully!
• Lesson 2: Screw processing. Learning how to fill the gaps at the cut ends with metal was my favorite subtle technique.
• Lesson 3: “Did you eat a full breakfast?” This was about grinding the cut ends perfectly flat. I poured every ounce of my strength into it.

Before I knew it, eight hours had flown by. I felt so bad knowing my teacher and classmates were waiting for me to wrap up so we could have dinner together…

Although I couldn’t share the final moment of completion in the studio, my heart is overflowing with gratitude and joy. Thank you to everyone and everything that made this training possible, and thank you to myself for persevering until the very last second.

Looking forward to the day we all meet again.
